Greening Government Operations (GGO)
Green Procurement Targets
As of April 1, 2011, each department will establish at least 3 SMART green procurement targets to reduce environmental impacts.

Strategies / Comments
- All procurement staff have been trained on green procurement and a chapter on green procurement is included in the course for administrative assistants;
- The Procurement Unit is releasing Request for Proposals electronically and is accepting submissions of bids electronically;
- All contracts are double sided printing; and
- All already used folders are reused or recycled.
