D. DEPARTMENTAL ORGANIZATION FOR PAY ADMINISTRATION

Present Organization

Senior Departmental Pay Administrator:

  • Reporting relationship to Deputy Head
  • Line or functional relationship to Pay & Benefits Units.

Structure for the pay function:

  • Number and location of Pay & Benefits clerks
  • Number and location of Pay & Benefits supervisors
  • Management and administration
  • Financial personnel associated with Pay
  • Number of pay accounts by location and which DSS Pay office maintains them.

Responsibilities

  • Operations
  • Monitoring
  • Training
  • Other (department to specify).

The inclusion of organization charts and flow charts of the pay operation would be of considerable assistance in reviewing this submission.
