The logic model is depicted using a sample problem - in this case the projected rise in playground injuries between 1980 and 2020 - and possible measures for better performance. In the example, three measures are presented: number of deaths per year due to playground related injuries; manufacturer defect rate for playground equipment; and the number of serious injuries per year.
