1. How is your department planning to meet the objectives of the Policy on Green Procurement?
  The National Film Board is committed to reducing the environmental impacts of its operations and has set up a 'Green Committee' responsible to integrate environmental performance considerations into the procurement process. The NFB is an important contributor to the Green Code project which researches, develops, launches and establishes a green code for the Media Industries tailored to the needs and processes of the documentary, film, television and new media industries.

3. Describe the green procurement targets that have been set by your department and indicate the associated benefits anticipated.
  An audit will be completed in March 2008, which will set green targets and indicators.
