The salary adjustments approved for the PE and the OM Groups on , provided for lump sum payments. These payments, variable by group and level, are to be paid to all employees who were in the PE or OM Groups on .

The amounts are to be paid to employees classified in the PE or OM groups, including casuals, and terms of less than (3) months.

Acting Assignment

The lump sum will be payable to employees receiving acting pay in the PE or OM Groups on .

Salary Protection

The lump-sum payments will be paid on position occupied, therefore employees occupying a position outside the PE or OM Groups will not be entitled to the lump-sum even though they may be receiving pay base on the PE/OM rates of pay.

Part-time employees

Part-time employee shall receive the full amount.

Employees on Leave Without Pay

Incumbents of PE or OM positions who are on leave without pay are entitled to the lump sum payment.
