Both subprocesses trigger Activity 3.1.4.1 – Record/Update Commitment, which results in the output of a commitment record. Next is the decision titled “Close out commitment?”. The YES flow for this decision advances to Activity 3.1.4.2 – Close Out Commitment and then continues with the NO flow to revisit one of following:

• Subprocess 3.1.2 – Determine/Exercise Expenditure Initiation Authority;
• Subprocess 3.1.5 – Manage Contracts; or
• Subprocess 3.1.7 – Manage Payments.
