Rates of Pay and Terms and Conditions of Employment Modifications for Excluded Employees of Certain Specific Occupational Groups

I am pleased to announce the revised rates of pay as well as modifications to the Terms and Conditions of Employment for certain excluded employees, as approved by the Treasury Board of Canada, for the following groups: Aircraft Operations (AO), Financial Management (FI), Technical Services (TC), Correctional Services (CX) and the Meteorology group of the Applied Science and Patent Examination (SP).
Rates of Pay
The rates of pay applicable to these excluded employee groups correspond to those found in their relevant collective agreement and can be found online at: Rates of Pay for the Public Service of Canada.
The rates of pay for those excluded positions for which different rates are listed compared to the collective agreement can be found online for the Aircraft Operations (AO), Financial Management (FI), Technical Services (TC) – Primary Products Inspection Group (PI), Correctional Services (CX) and the Meteorology Group (MT) of the Applied Science and Patent Examination (SP).
Severance Termination
Severance pay eligibility for voluntary separation (retirement and resignation) is discontinued as of the date indicated in the relevant collective agreement for all the groups listed above.
- The AO group: The estimate on years of continuous employment is to be provided no later than three (3) months from , (the date of the approved modifications) that is, no later than .
- The FI group: The estimate on years of continuous employment is to be provided no later than three (3) months from , (the date of the approved modifications) that is, no later than .
- The TC group: The estimate on years of continuous employment is to be provided no later than three (3) months from , (the date of the approved modifications) that is, no later than .
- The CX group: The estimate on years of continuous employment is to be provided no later than three (3) months from , (the date of the approved modifications) that is, no later than .
- The MT-08 group: The estimate on years of continuous employment is to be provided no later than three (3) months from , (the date of the approved modifications) that is, no later than .
- The AO group: Employees are to select their option within six (6) months from , which is by inclusively.
- The FI group: Employees are to select their option within six (6) months from , which is by inclusively.
- The TC group: Employees are to select their option within six (6) months from , which is by inclusively.
- The CX group: Employees are to select their option within six (6) months from , which is by inclusively.
- The MT-08 group: Employees are to select their option within six (6) months from , which is by inclusively.
