The purpose of this notice is to provide departments and agencies with the new Vacation Travel Assistance (VTA) rates which are effective and published today, for all isolated posts under the Isolated Posts and Government Housing Directive (IPGHD).
In addition, the National Joint Council Isolated Posts and Government Housing Committee has approved the designation of Shoal River / Pelican Rapids, Manitoba as a new isolated posts under the IPGHD. All allowances and benefits for this location will be effective .
Departments are reminded to distribute this notice to employees at your headquarters and regional offices who are involved in the administration of the isolated posts allowances.
