The Stages of the Outcome Management Process
The Outcome Management Process is divided into 4 stages.
- Stage 0: Launch outcome management process. Organizational readiness is confirmed at this stage.
- Stage 1: Development of the outcome realization model. This begins with the creation of a logic mode which then contributes to three activities: risk assessment, creation of an initiative register and the creation of an outcome register. The risk assessment also results in the creation of a risk register.
- Stage 2: provides Development of the outcome realization plan. During this stage, the value case is created from which an outcome realization plan is created.
- Stage 3: Monitor Delivery of Outcomes. Outcome and risk monitoring is implemented.
- Stage 4: Realize and optimize outcomes. The outcome management office is created and benefits are harvested.
Detailed explanations of the activities in each stage can be found in appendices A-M.
